I recently had some art commissioned that I found interesting and deep. Much like our society, people fall under one of two extremes: Unique or Common. This guitar’s owner wanted to leave the common and made their guitar unique.
There is a balance to know when to stop creating and when to continue, this is a great example of when to stop, not only from an artistic point of view but also from a functional one; as I wanted to ensure the to keep the art away from the surfaces of the guitar that get the most wear and tear. I truly enjoyed this piece and the moment I unveiled it to its owner.
